BURNOUT ZONE

You’re Showing Signs of Burnout - But You’re Not Broken.

This is more than everyday stress or temporary overwhelm.

Your system may be showing signs that it has been under strain for too long without enough recovery, support, or space to reset.

You’re still functioning.
Still handling responsibilities.
Still showing up for people.

But internally, things may feel heavier, harder, and more emotionally disconnected than they used to.

You likely:
✅ feel exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally
✅ feel disconnected from joy, motivation, or even parts of yourself
✅ feel stuck between desperately needing a break and feeling unable to step away
✅ judge yourself for struggling to maintain the same pace you once could

This is what can happen when high achievers stay in survival mode for too long.

And while you may still be functioning externally, your mind and body may be asking for a different level of support.

The goal now is not to push harder.

It’s stabilization, recovery, and interruption of the pattern before deeper depletion takes hold.

Your Next Steps

  • Remove, postpone, delegate, or step back from at least one non-essential demand this week.

  • Prioritize nervous system recovery daily, even in small ways: quiet pauses, reduced stimulation, sleep protection, hydration, movement, or moments without constant input and output.

  • Pay attention to persistent signs like exhaustion, disrupted sleep, emotional numbness, anxiety, brain fog, irritability, or physical symptoms. If these patterns have been ongoing, consider speaking with your healthcare provider or a mental health professional for additional support.
